Robot Run

A platforming game inspired by Celest emphasizing speed running. There are short cuts, some being intentional and others were not. Best times are saved even after relogging.
I probably made the game too hard for a game jam game but I managed to get a time of 2:50:08 if you want to try and beat it.
I was struggling with the theme "Just Getting Started" and had to turn what was going to be a rouge like into a platformer in 3 days, but I think it is close enough to the theme as the story is about a robot that has just been brought into the world and has become self aware and so is trying to escape the factory as quickly as possible.
(UI may have some scaling issues and there is sometimes an issue with vertically moving platforms, sorry couldn't fix intime).

I got stuck once in a tunnel and couldn't get out, but it's definitely a good platform game with solid mechanics, especially considering it was developed in just 10 days. Congratulations!
Tried it a second time and couldn't get past the launch thing. Not complaining, more announcing my skill issues
Awseome concept! I kept getting stuck in the second roll obstacle after the roll buff :( really fun to play otherwise!
Great game! But the jumps and run seems a bit floaty and hard to control for a speed running game...
You nailed the art and SFX!
The gameplay was a bit difficult for me. I couldn’t get past the first moving platform, but it still made me want to keep playing :D One thing to bring it to the next level would be a stronger connection to the theme.
